In a past life I used to arrive to incident channels and scramble to open a bunch of tools, checking Grafana, trying to remember when this last happened, figuring out what to do next, etc.

This is the message I received joining an incident channel today around some probe failures for our status page. It’s so good that we immediately callout the incidents this has happened in before and even link to Vercel’s status page so we can quickly see if a provider is having an issue.

Genuinely very calming. And the investigation is still going, checking logs, confirming this is genuinely a flake and not our system.
