There’s loads of fun ways to use Nano Banana but for me, the most practical by far has been extending our incident to provide ad-hoc annotations on graphs.

Story in three parts:

1. When did I adjust the batch size? Take this from my messages in the incident channel.
2. Fetch me the graph showing ops/second over this time range.
3. Now annotate the graph with the value I adjusted the batch size to, when I made the changes.

I used to have to break out excalidraw or figma for this and now I can just chat to the app to get a nice graph. Mental.
